EcoReadyMasuria Demonstration Farms

The Living Lab EcoReadyMasuria has announced a competition for Demonstration Farms interested in testing innovative solutions in their operations that will help them increase production efficiency and prepare for climate challenges.

 

The winners of the competition received:

  • the title of EcoReadyMasuria Demonstration Farm,
  • a cash prize of 2000 PLN,
  • support from scientists and practitioners in the field of agriculture,
  • access to research, agrometeorological stations, and professional laboratory analyses,
  • an opportunity to develop solutions that will influence future EU agricultural policy.

 

The application period lasted from January 14, 2025, to January 28, 2025, and in the "milk" category until February 24, 2025.

Practices tested in EcoReadyMasuria Demonstration Farms

 

 

Barley cultivation 

testing of soil biopreparations

Corn cultivation

test of conditioned nations

Cultivation of red clover

test of feed herb mixtures

Sunflower cultivation 

test of mixed cultivation of sunflower and corn

Milk production 

  • morus shrub forage as a new feed source

Additional benefits 

including the purchase of necessary materials (biopreparations, mulberry seedlings, fodder herbs), access to data from the agrometeorological station in the field, and funding for agricultural services (for an area of up to 2000 m²)

Promotion and networking

joining the group of Demonstration Farms, which together with EcoReadyMasuria partners will develop recommendations for the future EU agricultural policy
