Eco-Ready: we are building resilient food systems for Europe
What is Eco-Ready?
Eco-Ready is a pan-European research and implementation project that brings together scientists, farmers, local communities, and policymakers to strengthen the resilience of the European Union's food systems to climate change and other challenges. The project is funded under the Horizon Europe program and focuses on collaboratively developing practical solutions that support sustainable agriculture and environmental protection.
What distinguishes the project?
Eco-Ready is a unique initiative aimed at:
- Adapting agriculture to the impacts of climate change,
- Promoting sustainable agricultural practices,
- Protecting biodiversity,
- Building the resilience of European food systems.
As part of the project, a network was establishedof 10 Living Labs, which operate in various regions of Europe to test and implement innovative solutions in practice:
