On April 22–23, 2024, representatives from the Research and Innovation Centre Pro-Akademia and the University of Warsaw participated in the inaugural meeting of the ECO-READY Living Labs, held at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The event gathered representatives from ten living labs selected as part of the project ECO-READY, including EcoReadyMasuria, as well as partners of the ECO-READY project. The living labs serve as key partners in ECO-READY, co-creating research and implementation activities, combining knowledge from social and human sciences to better support public policies and enhance the resilience of food systems in the context of climate change and biodiversity.
The meeting aimed to initiate cooperation, facilitate presentations of individual living labs, and familiarize participants with the structure and scope of work within the project.
Within the network of living labs, activities will include developing scenarios for selected agricultural products, testing solutions in response to climate challenges, and formulating recommendations for public policies. This collaboration also aims to build a lasting network for knowledge and data exchange among partners from different regions of Europe.
This subproject received funding from the ECO-READY project (grant agreement number 101084201) under an open call funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation program.
