Kinformation clause
on the processing of personal data (GDPR)

In accordance with Article 13 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ EU L 119 of 04.05.2016, p. 1), hereinafter "GDPR", we inform you that:

  1. the co-administrators of your personal data are:
    a. The Research and Innovation Center Pro-Akademia, based in Konstantynów Łódzki, at ul. Innowacyjna 9/11, 95-050 Konstantynów Łódzki – Project Coordinator, who is the designated contact point for individuals whose data are processed (according to Article 26 paragraph 1 of GDPR);
    b. University of Warsaw, based in Warsaw at ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28, 00-927 Warsaw
    c. Local Action Group "Leader in EGO" based in Ełk, at ul. Adama Mickiewicza 15, 19-300 Ełk
    d. Agricultural Farm Mirosław Gontar based in Urbanki, Urbanki 10, 19-404 Wieliczki.
  2. Information regarding your personal data is provided by the Data Protection Specialist at the Research and Innovation Center Pro-Akademia, who can be contacted in writing by sending information via email to iod@proakademia.eu or to the address provided above.
  3. Your personal data is processed for the purpose of:
    a. entering into and performing a contract – the legal basis for this processing is Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b of GDPR (i.e., the processing of personal data is necessary for taking actions at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract or the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party),
    b. pursuing the legitimate interest of the administrator, which is the potential establishment, pursuit, or defense against claims related to the Competition and the concluded contract - the legal basis for this processing is Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f) of GDPR (i.e., the processing of personal data is necessary for purposes arising from the legitimate interests pursued by the administrator).
  4. Data may only be transferred to: authorized employees and collaborators of the data administrators, entities providing accounting services to the data administrators, electronic mail hosting service providers, IT service providers, law firms, banks, and, if required by law, to public administration authorities.
  5. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose indicated in point 3 letter a) for the duration of the establishment and performance of the contract. For the purpose indicated in point 3 letter b), your personal data will be processed until the expiration of claims related to the Competition or the concluded contract.
  6. Your personal data will not be transferred to a third country or an international organization.
  7. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to participate in the competition for the selection of EcoReadyMasuria demonstration farms and scientific research under the project.
  8. According to Article 22 of GDPR, your personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.
  9. You have:
    a. based on Article 15 of GDPR, the right to access your personal data;
    b. based on Article 16 of GDPR, the right to rectify your data (exercising this right cannot result in a change of the provisions of the contract)
    c. based on Article 18 of GDPR, the right to request the co-administrators to restrict the processing of personal data, subject to the cases referred to in Article 18 paragraph 2 of GDPR (the right to restrict processing does not apply to storage for the purpose of ensuring the use of legal remedies or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or due to important reasons of public interest of the European Union or a member state);
    d. the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates GDPR provisions.
  10. You do not have:
    a. in connection with Article 17 paragraph 3 letters b, d or e of GDPR, the right to erasure of personal data;
    b. the right to data portability referred to in Article 20 of GDPR;
    c. based on Article 21 of GDPR, the right to object to the processing of personal data, as the legal basis for processing your personal data is Article 6 paragraph 1 letter c of GDPR.
