In February 2025, the monitoring of agrometeorological data was launched as part of the EcoReadyMasuria Living Lab. Six weather stations were installed in the demonstration farms, which were configured and integrated with the data sharing system on the project's website in the section Agrometeorology.
The monitoring system allows for the ongoing collection of data regarding temperature, sunlight exposure, air humidity, wind speed and direction, daily precipitation, and soil parameters such as temperature and moisture. Additionally, historical data from nearby weather stations was acquired, enabling the analysis of long-term trends.
Agrometeorological monitoring in Masuria has been incorporated into the European Eco-Ready observatory, strengthening the knowledge base about climatic conditions and supporting decision-making in agriculture.
This subproject received funding from the ECO-READY project (grant agreement number 101084201) under an open call funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation program.
