On January 14, 2025, the call for demonstration farms within the Living Lab EcoReadyMasuria was launched. The competition was aimed at farmers interested in testing innovative solutions that support production efficiency and adaptation to climate change.
The application period lasted until January 28, 2025, and in the 'milk' category, it was extended to February 24, 2025. As a result, five demonstration farms were selected, each undertaking to test one chosen solution:
In addition, all practices were tested at the integrated farm in Urbanki (Wieliczki Municipality), which made it possible to analyse the combined impact of various solutions within a single production system.
The competition winners received the title of EcoReadyMasuria Demonstration Farm, financial support, and access to expert knowledge, environmental research, and monitoring infrastructure. This made it possible to conduct tests under real conditions and develop practical recommendations for future agricultural actions.
This subproject received funding from the ECO-READY project (grant agreement number 101084201) under an open call funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation program.
